Antje’s intelligent use of lighting, the individual’s skin tone and how it captures light and shadows, her vision before the shoot unfolds and the precision and attention to detail she brings when photographing for fitness are unparalleled in my experience as a fitness professional. I had a request of keeping everything natural, not air-brushing to make me look better than real life, and she accomplished so while delivering a wide array of usable shots, which is unique. Normally, when you come out of a shoot with a few good pictures, it’s considered a win. With Antje, you get more than you bargained for.
Also, I brought my children to get pictures taken as a surprise for my wife, for her birthday. The selection of pictures I ended up with was making my task difficult: nearly every shot captured a beautiful moment, expression or interaction of the children. With an energetic toddler and curious baby on the move, she adapted like a photographer in the wild, always there but never in the way, seizing precious memories for us to cherish forever
